The Seahawks’ 2009 opponents were recently released by the NFL; actual dates and times will be released sometime in April.
A quick look at the opponents:
Home: Arizona, San Francisco, St. Louis, Chicago, Detroit, Tampa Bay, Jacksonville, Tennessee
Away: Arizona, San Francisco, St. Louis, Green Bay, Minnesota, Dallas, Houston, Indianapolis
At first glance, it is definitely not the brutal schedule that we’re used to. This is somewhat expected, however, as we spent all year in the cellar and did not win the NFC West. It will be interesting to see if we land any primetime spots, something we’ve been unable to consistently achieve even when we were having success.
