What is happening to our society that there is no room for a second chance and no forgiveness for one instance of bad judgment? A four-game suspension, at most, should be levied; any more would be severe and unreasonable for a first offense, in my opinion. If the behavior is repeated, then a more serious penalty should be paid. Owen deserves at least a chance to earn back the respect of teammates, coaches, and fans before he's thrown to the wolves, don't you think?
