Anyone Seen Houshmandzadeh?

So far this season TJ Houshmandzadeh has been a non factor for the Baltimore Ravens. He has 2 catches for 31 yards. To give a comparison he has as many catches as the Fullback from Tennessee. The Fullback for the Dolphins has 3 catches so far, and the Fullback for the Ravens has a whopping 4.

As a Seahawks fan, you have to love this. It is not often that I cheer for a guy to fail, but I have made an exception in TJ’s case. I haven’t hated a former player this much since Hutchinson’s agent invented the term “Poison Pill” and Steve signed on the line. When he (Housh) was released by the Seahawks, many fans were furious calling him the best WR on the team. Those fans were so blinded by his salary and expectations that the reality of his personality never really came through. This guy is a joke and the punch line was his ego and sense of entitlement. He turned on his team and teammates last season blaming everyone but himself for his less than spectacular season.

At this rate look for TJ to finish the season with around 11 receptions for 175 yards. Mike Williams has shown flashes of possibly putting those numbers up in a single game this year. Hats off to GM John Schneider for jettisoning Houshmandzadeh from this team. And for those of you still complaining that we are paying him over 6 million to play for the Ravens, it’s a lot better than him bleeding us for the 40million over the course of his contract. Good riddance TJ. You are one of the most over rated free agents ever acquired by the worst GM in Seahawks history. I hope you evaporate into obscurity in Baltimore while spending the 6 million dollars we’ve paid you this season. Good riddance.
