Seattle Seahawks Breaking News: ‘Hawks Come to Terms with Matt Leinart


The Seattle Seahawks have now come to terms with a second Quarterback. Matt Leinart, will compete for a starting position along with Charlie Whitehurst and recent addition, Tarvaris Jackson.  He will be reunited with Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll, his college coach at USC.  After being drafted in the first round of the 2006 NFL draft by the Arizona Cardinals, Leinart’s career was sidelined by the overshadowing play of his then-teammate, Kurt Warner. He last played a backup role  for the Houston Texans. Stay tuned for more details, we will be reporting more on the development of this topic as new information becomes available.

    This will be an interesting competition at quarterback! … Actually I’m glad they took a chance on Leinart … we’ll at least get a chance to see if PC can re-kindle some of that QB magic … Charlie definately showed some grit when he had a chance last year … Jackson has talent too … 3 relatively green QB’s but each has a lot of upside.
