Excitement is beginning to generate in the Emerald City, as reports are coming in from ESPN, the NFL Network and other various sources, that the Seahawks are close to a deal with WR Sidney Rice. Sources are also stating that the Minnesota Vikings are attempting to re-sign him. It is being speculated that the teams offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell, former vikings OC, is the main cause for the ‘Hawks trying to pick up the 6′-4″, 24-year-old stud. Acquiring Rice would reunite him with Bevell and Tavaris Jackson, who also recently played for the Vikes. Is this an indication that Jackson is front runner for the top QB spot in Seattle?
