Seattle Seahawks: Tarvaris Jackson, the Face of a New Team

Tarvaris Jackson is a 6′-2″, 225 lbs. running/passing machine. He has a cannon for an arm, throws well on the run and is very good at eluding the pass rush. His accuracy has wavered in the past, but with some time and development could turn out to be a Michael Vick type QB. Jackson was recently named the starting QB for the ‘Hawks by Pete Carroll, with longtime Charlie Whitehurst remaining a backup, nipping at Jackson’s heels for a shot to lead the team. Many have made statements about Jackson’s ability to start and lead an NFL team effectively, especially after his average play with the Minnesota Vikings. But, there are some (like myself) that believe that he has the talent to evolve into a franchise QB. Much remains to seen from the young hopeful, but ‘Hawks fans are joining together, as always, and supporting their new ball-slingner.
