Just like last week, I figured would be fun to put the stats of the Tarvaris Jackson and Matt Hasselbeck next to each other and compare them. Obviously, QB stats depend on a lot that’s out of their control. It’s not like Jackson have the benefit of the Titan’s offensive line and running game. Still, any success that Matt has only puts Carroll’s and Schneider’s decision to move on further under the microscope.

Clearly Matt had the better game. I’d say he had a fantastic game, but he also had his signature ”Hasselbeck” interception. Matt also wasn’t sacked in the game, and had surprisingly little pressure on him considering that he was playing.
Jackson played decidedly worse than his stat line would indicate. Don’t let that 80.1 QB rating fool you. He left a lot of yard on the field by ignoring open downfield receivers in favor for 1-2 yard gains.
