Cortez Kennedy To Enter Hall Of Fame

Former Seattle Seahawk defensive tackle Cortez Kennedy has been selected for induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

I can’t believe it took this long. This was Tez’s 4th year of eligibility. Tez was arguably the most dominant defensive tackle in the league for an entire decade. He was selected to 8 straight pro-bowls. Tez also won the Defensive Player of the Year award in 1992. This was a remarkable win considering the team went just 2-14 that season. It’s tough to make any argument against his inclusion in the Hall.

Tez is the 2nd Seahawk to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, joining wide receiver Steve Largent.
