Seahawks general manager John Schneider spoke at the NFL Scouting Combine yesterday afternoon. When asked about Marshawn Lynch, he stated that they have not come to an agreement yet.

Lynch just finished what is considered his greatest season since entering the NFL in 2007. He rushed for 1,200+ yards and 12 touchdowns.

Schneider did mention that they’ve been having “great discussions and productive talks.”

After Lynch’s all-star season in 2011, many fans are predicting that Lynch will most likely be hit with the franchise tag or possibly a new long-term contract. Like the NFL has shown us before, nothing is ever certain. Don’t forget that there are other players on the roster in the same situation: Red Bryant, David Hawthorne, and Michael Robinson.

What is Lynch’s future going to look like? Only time will tell. Let’s hope time doesn’t keep us waiting too long.
