The clock has been ticking and time is running out. One of the Seahawks top priorities this offseason is soon-to-be free agent Marshawn Lynch.

The Seahawks have until March 5 to come to an agreement with running back Marshawn Lynch or he is expected to receive the franchise tag.

Both sides have been negotiating over the past few months, but things are not yet to a conclusion. A source has stated that an agreement is unlikely to happen due to such little time left, thus resulting in the franchise tag.

Marshawn Lynch had his best season for the Seahawks last year, running for 1,204 yards and 12 touchdowns. Expect him to be in Seattle for the 2012 season.
