EA SPORTS™ and ESPN have announced that voting is now open for the cover spot on Madden NFL 13, the highest-selling football videogame franchise in the world.

Last year there were over 12 million votes that were cast, and Cleveland Browns running back Peyton Hillis made his way through the 32-player tournament all the way to the cover of Madden NFL 12. This year more control is in the hands of the fans, for there are now 64 NFL players competing for the number one spot. It all begins with a play-in-round, where two members from each team face off and the winner is the one with the most votes. On March 21 the official seeded, 32-player bracket will be announced.

Marshawn Lynch and Earl Thomas have been the two Seahawks chosen to try and work their way up to make an appearance on the Madden NFL 13 cover. With all of the conspiracy theories surrounding a player’s following season after gracing the cover, maybe both of these talented Seahawks should stay out of the competition.

Make sure to cast your vote before March 21.
