Seahawks Trade Back Again, Then Get Speedy Linebacker

After trading back 4 spots with Jets and getting 2 more late round picks, the Seahawks finally got the outside line backer the needed.

In Bobby Wagner, the Seahawks a very athletic and fast OLB. He’ll play on the weak side spot that used to be  manned by LeRoy Hill. Wagner was under the radar because of he played for a small school in Utah St and because he was injured at the combine and didn’t work out.

The Seahawks continue to get faster and more athletic on defense. Its tough to argue with that.

I like this pick for two reasons. One, it addresses need and two, by moving back only four spots, they picked up another two mid-late round picks. Carroll and Schneider have shown that their true talent is picking up late round sleepers that pan out well.
