John Moffit Out 2-3 Weeks

The Seahawks announced today that 2nd year RG John Moffitt had elbow surgery, and will be out for 2-3 weeks, but should be ready for the week 1 game against the Cardinals.

Deuce Lutui will start in Moffitt’s place for tomorrow nights game against the Titans. And will likely retain that spot until Moffitt returns for the 4th pre-season game.

Moffitt was hurt in practice yesterday, but the severity of the injury was was revealed by the team. Today, all that was said was that Moffitt has a minor arthroscopic procedure to “clean out” his elbow.
