Seahawk Cuts Starting To Leak

facebooktwitterreddit

Today is a big day for the Seahawks, as they must cut their roster down from 75 to 53 by 6 pm local time. There will undoubtedly be a couple players placed on IR, and possible a couple trades or acquisitions between now and then as well.

The first of these cuts has leaked to the press, and Danny O’neil of the Seattle times is reporting that Kris Durham, the Seahawks 4th round pick a year ago, will be one of those released. This isn’t a surprise, as the Seahawks have a very crowded field at WR, and Durham did not have a good camp.

WR Charlie Martin has made the team, as it stands now. Of course things can change over the next few days.

Dean Butler will not make the team, per multiple reports.

Paul Fanaika will not make the 53 man roster, as per report from Curtis Crabtree.

LB Allen Bradford appears to be gone, per something he posted on twitter.

Update: LB Korey Toomer will be cut. via Danny Oneil of the Times.

I’ll update this post we learn of additional news.

They will release their full roster once all of the players have been informed of their future. I’ll post the 53 man roster once it is released
