With the Super Bowl over, and thus the lid finally put on the 2012 season, I thought it might be interesting to look at the Vegas odds for next year’s Super Bowl.
According to VegasInsider.com, The Seahawks opened at 16 to 1, which was tied for the 9th best odds in the NFL. There was obviously a lot of action on the Seahawks, because they very quickly were moved to 12 to 1 (6th best odds).
KJR’s Mitch said this morning thay he talked with an oddsmaker at Mandelay Bay Casino, and that they were getting so many people putting money on Seattle that they were moving their line to 8 to 1, which would make them the favorites (along with the 49ers) to win the NFC Championship.
We might as well get used to it. The Seahawks are going to be the darlings of the NFL all offseason.
