Dear people of America and sports fans of the world. The Seattle Seahawks are about to begin a season of exciting if not utterly dominant football in the NFL. If you are on the fence about joining us 12s or not, do yourself a favor, and just do it. You will not have more fun watching or cheering for any other team in the NFL this season. To join, all you have to do is agree to one of the three membership criteria below:

Bandwagon Membership 1:
General Admission – You may not be the most knowledgeable fan, you may have never liked football, you may have hated football in the past. But, something draws you to the Seahawks. Maybe it’s the fact that Seattle players of all sizes make hits of the highest magnitude. Perhaps you got a kick out of watching Richard Sherman talk smack to the point of being punched in the face. Maybe you just like to celebrate victory. If so, this membership option is for you.

Bandwagon Membership 2:
Partial Membership – Perhaps you are a fan of another team. Maybe even a Steelers fan, or a Packers fan. If so, have no shame. For one season, we will allow you on board to enjoy the success of the Seattle Seahawks. After all, who wants to cheer for a loser, and that’s pretty much what your team is destined to be.

Bandwagon Membership 3:
New Recruit – This full membership option is special for young people not yet attached to a team, international folks just learning the game, and others who are in need of a football team, and fan community. All you need is to want the very best. Why jump on the bandwagon of a team like the Patriots or Packers? Sure they have won titles, but wouldn’t it be more fun to be along for the ride to a teams very first Super Bowl title? Get this option fast while it’s still available.

Whatever you were trying to get at (???)…It just flew way over my head. Anyway, before this season starts I’m hoping to see an article on the offensive line, and maybe one on the defensive line too. Hoping….

Really ? What is that all about?

Good question. Some of us work for organizations that do not allow social media; no disqus, no facebook, no twitter, and google is perhaps the most notorious for compromising privacy (similar to the others just mentioned). It’s been my experience that websites that talk about “membership” & “sign up” usually have a tab to allow visitors to do as much, but for the one site only. I don’t see that option here, and it disturbs me when I could possibly get fired from my job if my professional contacts get compromised with an abundance of spam/advertising/tracking/etc. A person can ‘subscribe’ on this website, but it’s not clear why they would do so, and it’s not clear exactly what that yields. This article can really be read a couple of different ways. Please read the article from my point of view, as ends with requesting an e-mail address to “subscribe”. I like reading the articles here, but prefer to just browse the ‘sports’ section from my ‘favorites’ menu at this time. Hope that clears the issue.

Hey guys, it’s just a humor piece about imaginary band wagon memberships. Sorry for the confusion, and I don’t know the ins and outs of Fansided. But there is a twitter feed @12th_ManRising if that helps. I’ll also make sure to address the OL/DL in my next post before the season starts. I always say that the line is what makes or breaks a team. Go Hawks!

Sign me up for membership #2. Still worried about the right side of the OL and the DL with all the injuries and suspension.
