Mariners and Giants have made bet over outcome of Sunday’s game

MLB’s Seattle Mariners and San Francisco Giants are showing their love and dedication to their hometown teams in the NFL.

The teams have agreed on a wager over the outcome of Sunday’s NFC Title game between the Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers over Twitter.

The Giants Twitter account stirred the post at first when they posted:

Not to be outdone, the Mariners Twitter account posted:

Then the Giants threw a below the belt punch by replying:

Naturally, the Mariners Twitter account didn’t take too kindly to the remark. They replied with some nice cold, hard facts:

That was the lead up to the bet. The Mariners let the Giants know what they wanted from San Francisco’s baseball team if the Seahawks win on Sunday:

The Giants were more than obliged, and responded:

You know things are serious when baseball teams are putting bets on the game.

It adds another dimension to what is already going to be a matchup between teams who hate each other. The winner of this fierce rivalry is going to the Super Bowl and the loser will see their season end at the hands of their arch-nemesis.
