Michael Robinson is a Super Bowl champion and on March 13, he will make his acting debut as a guest star on “The Young & the Restless.”

As first reported by the Wrap, Robinson taped his appearance last week and will appear alongside Eric Braeden, who plays Victor Newman in the daytime soap.

“It was an amazing experience,” said Robinson. “I’ve been a fan for years and it was great to meet the personalities on the show.”

Robinson admitted that watching the show was one his guilty pleasures. After producers learned that he liked the show, they offered him the chance to guest star.

He eagerly accepted and was able to meet most of the cast.

So what is the show about? According to CBS.com:

"It revolves around the rivalries, romances, hopes and fears of the residents of the fictional Midwestern metropolis, Genoa City. The lives and loves of a wide variety of characters mingle through the generations, dominated by the Newman, Abbott, Chancellor, Baldwin and Winters families. [The show is known for its] strong characters, socially conscious storylines, romance and sensuality."

The Young and the Restless” has been on the air since 1973.
