It was the interview heard ’round the world when Richard Sherman infamously told the world not to ever talk about him after the Seahawks beat the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC title game in January.

A little more than three months later, President Barack Obama joked about the encounter at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner on Saturday night.

After saying that he sometimes feels “disrespected” by reporters, President Obama said that Sherman had given him some advice on what to say to reporters to counter the issue.

“Don’t you ever talk about me like that,” the president said. “I’m the best President in the game!”

He then asked Sherman if there was enough emotion in his statement.

The dinner was hosted by comedian Joel McHale, a Seattle native and longtime Seahawks fan.
