The Seahawks defense is the best in the game but it got even better with the Seahawks selecting OLB Kevin Pierre-Louis from Boston College with the No. 132 overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft.
Pierre-Louis is an athletic performer with great speed and all the tools to succeed in the middle of Seattle’s defense.
He ran a 4.51 40-yard dash at 232 pounds and he could also excel at special teams.
Pierre-Louis is a bit undersized at 6-foot even, but he makes up for that with his athleticism and he has shown little fear in being a big-hitter in the middle of the field.
He will join Bruce Irvin and Malcolm Smith as the other outside linebackers on Seattle’s defense, but he could also be versatile enough to move inside as more of a pass-rusher. It just depends on what Pete Carroll wants to do with him.
Welcome to Seattle.
