The Seahawks announced on Wednesday that the team will be selling at least 12 new food items at home games regularly starting at Friday’s preseason game against the San Diego Chargers.
Among the monstrous new food items are The Colossal Hawk Dog, Hawk Nachos, the “First and 10” Hot Turkey Sandwich and much more.
The Hawk Dog looks amazing and, according to Seahawks.com, the “24-inch-long hot dog is topped with chipotle cheese sauce, pico de gallo, diced red peppers, diced jalapenos, sour cream, and guacamole with blue and green tortilla strips.”
Whoa.
The Hawk Nachos are filled with “huge Seahawks blue and green nacho chips with chipotle cheese sauce, pollo verde or ground beef, black beans, cotija cheese, diced green chilies, sliced Jalapenos, sliced black olives, guacamole, sour cream, pico de gallo, and banana pepper rings.”
Tasty.
The Seahawks worked with their food and beverage partner Delaware North Sportservice to put the menu together.
Sportservice Executive Chef Seis Kamimura showed excitement about the menu and spoke to the Seahawks website:
"“We’re trying to have some fun with traditional food items but also bringing in more tastes that are capturing attention in Seattle,” Kamimura said. “We want our menu to have a variety of foods for many tastes.”"
Nothing says football like the Seahawks and tasty food!
The prices of the food items were not immediately known, but if any of the food tastes as good as it looks, it should be worth it.
The revamped menu also included Seattle Crab Fries, Phnom Penh Tempura Chicken and Hue Ky Mi Gia Vegetarian Chow Mein.
Kickoff for the Seahawks game against the Chargers will be at 7 p.m. PDT.
If you are at the game, hope you are hungry! You can comment with your review of the food if you try it!
