The Dallas Cowboys came into Seattle and stole the show from the defending champs and former #1 team in our Power Rankings. The DeMarco Murray led offense ran all over the previously #1 ranked rush defense and became only the second opponent to win in Seattle in the past 20 games.

Was that enough to move them into the top spot this week? A strong case can be made for a handful of teams and the top five is definitely packed with talented football teams. There are no undefeated teams in the NFL, but six remain that have just one loss, including the Bengals who tied with the Panthers after missing what would have been a game-winning FG.

Our biggest climbers this week were the Cleveland Browns. Their win over the Steelers was just the second time they’ve done so in the Roethlisberger era. They go from 21 to 15 in our Power Rankings and a controversy is starting to brew whether or not Brian Hoyer is going to remain in Cleveland after this year. They’d be smart to lock him up and let Johnny Football sit ala Aaron Rodgers.

The Rams had a chance to move up drastically as well. Their 1st quarter performance against the 49ers had us thinking it was meant to be. But a collapse in the second half ensured they stay in the bottom ten for at least another week. They play the Seahawks in St. Louis next week.
