The Seattle Seahawks have an early game Sunday against their division-rival St. Louis Rams in the Midwest.

More from Seattle Seahawks News

The Seahawks (3-2) are coming off their first home loss of the season, a 30-23 defeat at the hands of the Dallas Cowboys last weekend.

The Rams, meanwhile, are 1-4 and trying to keep their heads above water in the midst of a three-game losing streak.

Seattle will be playing in their first game since trading wide receiver Percy Harvin to the New York Jets on Friday, but the offense should be fine without him.

More troublesome for Seattle is the number of injuries the team has.

Jordan Hill, Cassius Marsh, Byron Maxwell, Zach Miller, Max Unger and Bobby Wagner have all been ruled “out” of Sunday’s contest.

Seattle has their work cut out for them if they want to avoid going 3-3 this young season.

The Seahawks currently sit alone in third place in the NFC West and need a big victory on Sunday to pick up some momentum heading into a challenging stretch in the schedule.

Will Seattle show they don’t need Harvin to win games and leave St. Louis with a 4-2 record? Or will the Rams prove they have what it takes to upset the defending Super Bowl champs, something they nearly did the last time the teams played at the Edward Jones Dome?
