The Seattle Seahawks defeated the NFC West leading Arizona Cardinals on Sunday to move to within two games of the division lead.

Seattle again had issues finding the end zone in their 19-3 victory, but one man had possibly the greatest diving TD catch of year in the 3rd quarter.

Helfet has helped pick up the slack since the injury to Zach Miller. Helfet finished with only two catches for 27 yards, but both were at key moments in he game. The TD was the final score in the game and helped put the game beyond the reach of the Cardinals, who still remain the team with the NFL’s best record despite the loss.

Running back Marshawn Lynch never got going and was in obvious discomfort as he rushed 15 times for just 39 yards. Lynch never attacked opposing defenders with the same punishing style he’s displayed his entire career. Earlier in the game Lynch was taken to a private area on the field and tended to for what was an apparent back injury.

Although Lynch finished the game, and even asked head coach Pete Carroll to enter the game on the final drive, it’s unclear what the extent of the injury is and if he’ll be able to practice next week in preparation for the Thanksgiving game against the San Francisco 49ers.
