Who do you believe is the Seahawks MVP? Are there any players that the team simply cannot win without? Perhaps, but hopefully we never find out for certain.

I have created a list of the top 10 most valuable players to our team. I’ll be revealing  them two at a time in the next couple weeks. I have mine, what are yours?

Lets get this started.

Number 10 –  Doug Baldwin

Whether we like it or not the leader of our receiving corps is Doug Baldwin.

Baldwin was an undrafted free agent out of Stanford in 2011. In his four years he has caught 196 passes for 2,797 yards and 15 touchdowns.

He has led the team in receiving twice in his four years and has only missed two games in his career, both coming in 2012.

After signing a three-year deal as an undrafted free agent in 2011, then becoming a restricted free agent, the Seahawks placed a second round tender on him. If he would have played under that tender his salary would have been $2.187 million. Instead he held off signing it and eventually came to terms on a three-year deal worth $13 million.

With the addition of Jimmy Graham this year his shot of being the leading receiver again takes a major hit, but I wouldn’t be surprised at all if he was.
