Seattle Seahawks injury report: fans wait impatiently to see if Russell Wilson will be on this week’s injury report.

Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson has never missed a game or a practice in his NFL career. After Sunday’s game against the Miami Dolphins, where Wilson’s ankle was injured on a play in the third quarter, there was a good chance he could miss both. Luckily, Wilson practiced fully all week, and is slated to start on Sunday against the Rams.

Wilson’s injury was a huge scare for the team. Having rookie QB Trevone Boykin have to face that stout Rams defense, with only a questionable at best offensive line, seems like a recipe for disaster. The team signed QB Jake Heaps to the practice squad this week for a little added depth but there would have been no replacing Wilson.

A big question this week is how will Jimmy Graham recover after playing against Miami. The answer to that is more good news for the team and fans. Graham practiced fully all week and will play this weekend in LA. With more reps this game, it gives an additional target for Wilson.

Running back CJ Prosise left last Sunday’s game with a wrist injury. He has practiced all week with a brace on his hand, and it didn’t seem to slow him down. He is expected to play this week.

Neither offensive lineman Germain Ifedi nor tight end Nick Vannett will be back this week. Although both Vannett and Ifedi have ankle injuries, head coach Pete Carroll said he thinks Ifedi may have a chance to make it back next week.

There was a new addition to the injury report today was guard J’Marcus Webb. He is currently listed as questionable for this week’s game, out with an ankle injury. This leaves a huge hole in Seattle’s already Swiss cheese offensive line. Fans should hope he heals quickly.
