When you look at all the good to very good players that left this team when Beahring owned it, it is at least as long as the late round list. Starts with Kevin Mawae and four of the guys above. There are more.

Your right, it’s not a very long list of good late round draft choices. It doesn’t show well for previous Seahawk general managers. It makes me respect John Schneider even more now.

Finally someone else recognizes the same thing about BMW that I have been saying all year. Matt threw the man open, TJ won’t throw the ball to anyone (but Rice) unless they are wide open. The problem last year wasn’t BMW, I was at plenty of games and he was in position to make playes all the time, TJ quite frankly just sucked it up.

Now that being said, if the team has better prospects this year, more power to them.

I also am curious to see what happens to Golden, the guys doesn’t even show up to practice, and it is quite evident that he needs as much practice as he can get.

Great article, couldn’t agree with you more. It was blatantly obvious that Tjax could not read more than half the field at a time, even after six years of the same diet. Everything you stated was nuts on !

@Brunswick Trading Wilson is only one option. If Wilson is as good as you, and Carroll, are saying, then he could start, or be next in line when/if Flynn moves on. I would rather have a solid QB secession system in place than simply developing players to trade.

THANK YOU! For saying what we all know! Cut Jackson, save the $4.4 million in cap space & move on! I, for one, cannot bear another season of mediocrity under center. The thing now, is to see if JS/PC will cut their losses & send Jackson packing. I doubt that any team would give a 7th round pick for him, but hey, he is marginally better than Curry, BUT NOT BY MUCH! I hope that we see Flynn as the starter & Wilson as his backup & possible heir to the thrown.

This article bothers me, having watched Russell play at NC State for 3 years as a starter then dominate the Big 10 his last season at Wisconsin I don’t think that Pete Carroll is ignorant enough to “develop” a player so he can put himself in a better position for trading up later on. THE DUDE IS A PLAYER and even better has more drive than anyone on the field. Theres a dark horse in Seattle and I would be surprised if he DIDNT start this Fall.

Qudo’s on a great point and @ Hanley I agree with you also- BUT I would think that eventually we are going to see alot more Five DB’s on the field all the time , with one of them being that SS / LB hybrid that will be able to read – react to run pass either way. I remember bringing this up in the 90′s with buddies and most of them laughed at me and called me stupid , but I knew evetually someone would find the right inteligent player/ players who could make it excell.
