According to a report at ProFootballTalk.com, Edgerrin James has agreed to a one-year, $2 million deal with the Seattle Seahawks.
James enters a backfield that already includes Julius Jones, T.J. Duckett, Justin Forsett, and Devin Moore. None of the backs, Duckett in particular, have been spectacular in exhibition games played thus far.
The signing has been picked up by local media sources such as the Seattle Times and KJR, but nothing has been officially announced yet. If ProFootballTalk.com is accurate, then the deal should be confirmed tomorrow by the Seahawks.
More details and opinion will be posted tonight.
