Finally.

Russell Okung and the Seattle Seahawks have finally agreed to terms on a six-year deal. And most importantly, Okung joined the team today for his first practice of training camp.

The six-year deal is worth $48.5 million with more than $29 million in guaranteed money. The maximum worth of the contract is reportedly $58 million.

Okung was participating in practice as a member of the second-team offense. It will probably be about a week before he is inevitably promoted to the first unit. Ray Willis lined up at left tackle for the first-team offense.

The news of Okung’s contract broke this morning, conveniently conflicting with my schedule. But Seahawks fans everywhere can breathe a sigh of relief knowing Seattle’s most important offseason investment has arrived to camp.
