Tyler Polumbus, Starting Left Tackle

facebooktwitterreddit

Offensive coordinator Jeremy Bates said today the team is preparing as if Tyler Polumbus will be the starting left tackle on Sunday.

Tyler. Or Troy. Whatever.

Either way, the Seahawks will be starting a player at left tackle who was claimed off waivers only a few weeks ago. The Detroit Lions acquired him off waivers and traded him to Seattle just days later.

Chester Pitts is another option for left tackle, but he has been limited in practice and is recovering from a knee injury. Pitts also did not play in any exhibition games.

Matt Hasselbeck could be in for a long day against a defense that loves to repeatedly put him on the ground at least two times each year.
