Earl Thomas Looking Great in Rookie Season

Just watched Seahawks Press Pass the other night and loved the things Pete Carroll said about Earl Thomas.

One of the things he was quick to point out was how early Earl Thomas came out of college, and that he is being asked to do things he was never asked to do in college.

It was a great point.  Earl Thomas is absorbing football like a child studies language.  The thing that I believe seperates him is his true love to be a great football player.

Many players are happy getting paid or individual recognition.  That’s why they work so hard.  One might argue this was the case with a certain Hawks running back.

Earl Thomas loves the game and only wants to improve.  More so, he wants to be the best for all the right reasons.  Granted, he is still very young, and it may only be a matter of time until the indulgences of the NFL taint this now pure player.  But until such time, I am trusting never, I am ecstatic to have Earl Thomas right now.  He looks to be a great prospect for the future.  I love the way he plays and the way he conducts himself off the field.

In all honesty, I believe we may have only seen the tip of the iceberg so far.
