NFL Draft Update: Defensive End

This is an odd class of DEs. There are only 2 players with first round grades at this point. But at the same time there is tremendous depth underneath that. This will lead to a few reaches early, and then likely a long gap before an DEs are picked, because there wont be an need to pick on when there’s a similar player that’ll be available later.
As for players that Seattle might look at, Sam Montgomery is a good looking Leo style end that might be available early in the 2nd round, or late in the first. After that Nick Perry would also be a great fit in the 3rd round, and there are a number of players that will be available in the late rounds that could upgrade the Seahawks pass rush.
