Very important game today for the Seahawks. While this isn’t an absolute must-win game, a loss here would could really hurt the Seahawk’s playoff chances. This is a game the Sehawks should win, but the Seahawks have had trouble in those types of game under Pete Carroll.
Game chat will begin just before kickoff.
S Winston Guy, CB Walter Thurmond, LB K.J. Wright, DT Clinton McDonald, T Mike Person, G James Carpenter, DT Greg Scruggs
KJ Wright and James Carpenter are both out with concussions. The Seahawks have already had to win without them, as Carpenter missed last week’s game, and Wright was injured very early in the first quarter a week ago.
The Seahwaks chose to activate DT Jaye Howard instead of Greg Scruggs. Thisis the first time this has happened all season. Howard is more of a run stuffer, while Scruggs is the better pass rusher. This chance says a lot about the Seahawks game plan this week, and what they are concerned about from the Jets.
Marshawn Lynch skipped practice al week with injuries, but returned on Friday. He’ll play, but I expect him to be limited. Expect to see Robert Turbin get 5-ish more carries than usual in this game.
