Guess Which Seattle Seahawk Is On Pace To Throw 24 TDs, And Other Random Statistical Projections
By Keith Myers
With the Seahawks enjoying a much needed bye week, I thought it would be fun to take a look at a the stats few Seahawk players, and project them out to 16 games. That way, we can see what players are “on pace” to do this season.
I’ve left off Richard Sherman from this list. I’m working on something that includes all of his stats, and I don’t want to give away the ending of that article here. Just know that he’s been pretty damn amazing.
Player | On Pace For | Comments |
Russell Wilson | 24 TDs | Rookie record is 26 |
2923 yards | ||
Marshawn Lynch | 8 TDs | 12 last season |
16,008 yds rushing | ||
Doug Baldwin | 24 catches | 51 last season |
Sydney Rice | 51 catches | 34 last season |
Golden Tate | 41 catches | 35 last season |
Bobby Wagner | 129 tackles | Only played about 50% of snaps first 4 games |
Bruce Irvin | 11 sacks | Still think he was a draft reach? |
Zack Miller | 37 catches | |
Breno Giacomini | 17 penalties | Yikes! but less than Browner in 2011 |
Matt Flynn | 0 offensive snaps | Looks good holding a clipboard |
Seahawks | 9.6 wins | Round up for a playoff spot |
Please not that while the math here is sound, it shouldn’t be taken too seriously. All such projections are just for fun.
And just for fun, here’s a picture of Brandon Browner crushing Wes Welker, because I never get tired of seeing that.
