Join Us For A Live Game Chat During Seahawks @ Bills

Every game is important at this point in the season. A loss to a bad team like Buffalo in a game like this and The Seahawks’ playoff hopes can be dashed fairly quickly.

The Seahawks have a shot at the #2 seed, which means a first round bye and at least 1 home playoff game. To get there, they have to win out, and get a little help, but that help isn’t unreasonable in this case. The Seahawks would need the Packers to lose one game, and the 49 to lose to New England. Both are definitely possible.

Live Chat will start about 5 minutes before kickoff.

Seahawks inactives: CBs Marcus Trufant, Walter Thurmond & DeShawn Shead, DT Jaye Howard, G Rishaw Johnson, and WR Deon Butler

The Seahawks have a big concern at CB now. Their #2, #3, and #4 CBs are all out for this game, meaning the 5th and 6th string CBs will both be on the field for much of this game. Throw in that SS Kam Chancellor, who will play, is also slowed with a injury, and the Seahawks may be in trouble. The secondary has been the strength of this defense all season, but that clearly wont be the case today.

LeRoy Hill is back and back in the starting lineup. I’m pretty annoyed by this. Malcolm Smith has clearly outplayed Hill when given a chance to get on the field. Smith is definitely the better players and should be playing. Pete Carroll’s talk of everyone having to always compete for their job is apparently only talk and no substance in this case.

Buffalo inactives: QB T. Jackson, WR D. Jones, CB L. McKelvin, CB T. Heath, DL J. Ross, C E. Wood, OL C. Scott.
