Wild Card Live Chat: Seahawks vs Redskins
By Keith Myers
It’s playoff time! The winner goes to Atlanta to take on the Falcons next week. The loser begins their offseason sooner than they’d like.
Due to the weirdness of NFL playoff seeding rules, The Seahawks come into this game as the better team with more win, but are still the lower seed. Not that I’m complaining. The rules worked to our advantage back in 2010 for the beastquake game. I’ve just always found them to be a bit odd.
Final line for this game has the Seahawks favored by a FG, even though they are on the road.
Live Chat will begin 5-10 minutes before kickoff.
I’ll update with inactives for the game once they are announced.
Seattle is surprisingly healthy for this game. There are just 2 players on the injury report (Lynch and Lane) and both are listed as “probable.” The Seahawks also will get a big boost by getting Brandon Browner back from his 4 game suspension.
Washington is a lot less healthy coming into this game. They have 13 players on their injury report, though 11 of those are listed as “probable” and will be available to play. Only 2, DeJuan Gomes and Kory Lichtensteiger, are listed as “questionable.”
Seahawks Inactives: WR Butler, SS Guy, CB Shead, LB Bradford, G Johnson, T Person, DT Howard
Redskins Inactives: QB Groxxman, WR Banks, WR Briscoe, LB Muckelroy, LB So’oto, T Compton, G Gettis
