Did you know the Seahawks beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers seven of the first eight times they played them and now hold a 7-4 record against them all-time?
The Seahawks haven’t played the Buccaneers since 2010, but they have lost the last three meetings between the two and will look to snap that streak on Sunday in Seattle.
The two teams first played each other in 1976 with Seattle winning the game, 13-10. The Seahawks also won the next three meetings and were 4-0 against Tampa Bay by 1996.
In 1999, Tampa Bay earned their first victory in the series, a 16-3 win in Seattle.
But the Seahawks countered by winning the next three games and were 7-1 all-time against the Bucs after their 20-6 victory in 2007.
In 2008, 2009 and 2010, the Buccaneers won each meeting between the teams which means heading into Sunday the Seahawks have a 7-4 record all-time in the series.
Tampa Bay scored the most points in the series in their most recent meeting, a 38-15 win for the Bucs.
