The Seahawks are preparing to take on the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XLVIII, but that doesn’t mean it’s too early to look ahead to next year.

All season long, the Seahawks have had issues on the offensive line, forcing Russell Wilson to scramble out of trouble and make ridiculously awesome plays.

But Wilson can’t run forever.

In the 2014 NFL Draft, the Seahawks need to draft an offensive lineman.

Who?

David Yankey would be a perfect fit  on the Seahawks offensive line. A dominating force at 6-foot-5, 313 pounds, Yankey was an anchor on Stanford’s high-flying offense for three years.

In 2013, Stanford’s offensive line allowed the fewest negative plays in college football, just over three tackles for loss per game. The offensive line also allowed the fewest sacks in the PAC-12, with fewer than one sack per game.

Yankey was a team captain and a unanimous All-American as a senior.
