Super Bowl 2014: Madden 25 predicts an overtime nail-biter

Perhaps there is nothing more painful than losing a game in overtime. Well, maybe there is: how about losing the Super Bowl in overtime?
If the latest simulation of “Madden 25” is correct, that will be the Seahawks fate when they take on the Denver Broncos on Sunday.
The simulation predicts the Seahawks and Broncos will be tied at 28 after four quarters, and Denver will take home the Lombardi Trophy after Matt Prater hits a 48-yard field goal in an extra period to give the Broncos a 31-28 victory.
The video game predicts that the Seahawks will have a 10-7 lead at the half, but that Denver will score 14 unanswered in the third quarter to make it a 21-10 game.
From there, Seattle will stage a furious fourth quarter comeback to tie the game before regulation ends.

Even though it’s just a video game, the annual Madden simulations have been eerily accurate.
The video game has correctly predicted the winner of eight of the last 10 Super Bowls.
