Wilson took his drills and then took a seat in the dugout to watch the Rangers take on the Cleveland Indians.
It was known last week that Wilson would not be participating in Monday’s game. Manager Ron Washington said he does not want to risk Wilson’s health.
“No way,” Washington said to the Dallas Morning News. “I’m not using him. Basically, we want to see if there is anything he can say that will help anybody with a baseball uniform. He’s got character, he’s a winner.”
