1: Brandin Cooks (Oregon State): Cooks would be my dream second round pick for Seattle after an OT in round one. Quite similarly to Tate four seasons ago, he could fall because of size and durability concerns despite his incredible college production. No doubt Pete Carroll knows all about him and obviously would have a place to plug him right in.

If Tate had stayed, there’s no way Seattle would take this pick, but I hope it’s an option come day 2 of the draft. Cooks could also return punts, adding to his value.

An intriguing thought also is a possible Beaver-duo with a Scott Crichton pickup at DE in round one if the Hawks don’t land Jared Allen in free agency, then Cooks in the second. More Pac-12 to Seattle!
