Seahawks will face 3 AFC teams, 1 NFC team in 2014 preseason

The Seahawks 2014 preseason opponents were announced on Wednesday and will feature games against three AFC teams and one team from the NFC.

Seattle will open their preseason slate on the road with a rematch of Super Bowl XLVIII against the Denver Broncos at Sports Authority Field.

They will then return to CenturyLink Field to take on the San Diego Chargers and Chicago Bears before finishing the preseason in Oakland against the Raiders.

The Seahawks have had excellent success in recent years during the preseason. They are 11-5 since hiring Pete Carroll as head coach and they have been undefeated in each of the past two seasons of preseason games.

They are currently on a nine-game winning streak and haven’t lost a preseason game since 2011.

The exact dates and times of the games have not yet been released, but here is a look at the Seahawks 2014 preseason schedule thus far:

Week 2 (Aug. 14-18)

vs. San Diego Chargers

Week 3 (Aug. 21-24)
