And now what we’ve all been waiting for since the end of the season in February: the preseason schedule.

Who are we going to be matched up with that will truly give us a magnified look on how much potential we have to get back to the big stage? The waiting and the waiting and the waiting had you patting your foot in a rhythmic manner and constantly watching SportsCenter and FOX Sports for updates.

Then you finally went crazy and yelled “WHO ARE WE PLAYING FOR CHRIST SAKE?”

Well don’t get your britches is a bunch, calm down, I’ve got the list right here.

Ladies and gentlemen, we’re starting the season just how we ended, with Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos. Bringing up the rear are the San Diego Chargers, Chicago Bears, and Oakland Raiders. Fortunately, the Seahawks’ preseason record is 11-5 in four years under Pete Carroll. These games have allowed the Seahawks to explore their depth on both offense and defense. It’s their time to see whose who and who can produce on the field under millions of eyes.

Although preseason outcomes are usually cast off to the side and labeled as unimportant to a team’s regular-season success, to Carroll and the Seahawks, football is football. No matter how unimportant it may be, winning is everything.

I’m ready for a 4-0 preseason record… How about you?
