Now that Sidney Rice is returning to Seattle, the Seahawks bigger first round need is an offensive lineman, rather than a wide receiver. Jackson fits the bill as a player who excels at the left guard position with the ability to open holes for Marshawn Lynch and the power to protect Wilson’s blind side. His angles are great when reading the blitz and his size makes him tough to get around. Jackson showed tremendous durability in his four college years, starting in 52 games. That could be huge for the Seahawks O-line which has shown it is injury prone in recent years.
