The Seahawks could use another safety in the secondary with the departure of Chris Maragos last month. Parker has the ability to cover quick receivers, step up and pick off a pass or use the hit-stick like Kam Chancellor. He is a leader that earned a lot of respect as a Husky as he was named team captain by his teammates his senior year. The Seahawks still have DeShawn Shead on their roster as a safety but if Chancellor’s hip rumors are true in the slightest, Seattle would be wise to draft someone who could shadow him and then fill in if need be.
