Denver was embarrassed in the Super Bowl by the Seahawks in absolutely every aspect of the game — offense, defense and even on special teams.

Peyton Manning and the Broncos have to prove that they can beat a dominant team like the Seahawks in order to be recognized as the clear-cut favorite in the AFC, but Seattle isn’t going to make the game an easy one.

At the same time, don’t expect the Seahawks to put on the show they did on Feb. 2 when these teams meet again in 2014.

The Broncos have added Emmanuel Sanders, DeMarcus Ware, Aqib Talib, and T.J. Ward, among others, but we will have to wait and see if the new weapons phase Seattle at all.

**Correction: A previous version of this article mistakenly listed Andre Caldwell as one of the Broncos’ offseason acquisitions. Caldwell has been a member of the Broncos since 2012 and played in all 16 games for Denver last year. The writer regrets the error.
