It makes more and more sense for Seattle to pick up a defensive end or two to replace Chris Clemons and Red Bryant, both of whom proved the value and worth of the position to the Seahawks. Michael Bennett and Cliff Avril are the team’s projected starters next year, but they will both need help in the pass-rush scenarios that Clemons thrived in. Seattle also needs to replace Bryant’s specialty as the two-gap end on the Seahawks top-ranked defense. Due to the fact that both Clemons and Bryant left this offseason, this was almost Seattle’s biggest draft need. But because of a sub-par offensive line, the defensive end position comes in at No. 2.
