Final Analysis The Seahawks prioritized and met their needs on the DL this offseason, you can’t ask for much more than that. Jared Allen was in the mix for awhile and for about an hour we thought the Seahawks had won the sweeps, but it was not to be. While that was a bit disappointing, Pete Carroll and John Schneider did another masterful job at compiling a roster with plenty of depth and talent on it. There are some unknown commodities at backup, but that’s just how the Seahawks have to be built. The key is that they were able to keep a formidable starting-four together while facing an incredibly challenging free agency period. That in itself garners a pretty good grade.
