Lynch has played eight seasons in the league and has played at least 12 games in all but one of those years, so it’s fair to say he might feel he is getting tired.

He has had at least 285 carries for three-straight seasons in Seattle’s run-heavy offense, but, at 28, he still has a few years left in the tank.

Former RBs Eddie George, Tiki Barber, Marshall Faulk, Corey Dillon, Jerome Bettis, and Warrick Dunn, among others, were all productive in their early thirties, even though their “prime” came a few years earlier.  The same could be said about Lynch.

And, to give his legs a break every once in a while, the Seahawks have developed Christine Michael, who would be prepared to help out in the backfield.

Lynch no longer needs to feel that he has to carry Seattle’s run game, but he still has the legs to be one of the most productive backs in the game.
