Wilson is tied with Tom Brady with the 93 rating, the fourth-highest rated QB in the game.

Peyton Manning is the highest-rated quarterback (98 overall rating), tied with Aaron Rodgers (98) and just ahead of Drew Brees (96).

Wilson is ranked as the next-best quarterback because of his “dual-threat” abilities, according to’s QB ratings:

"Being 5’11” doesn’t hurt Russell Wilson one bit in the Madden NFL 15 ratings. He is the ultimate dual threat with his 86 SPD (ranked eighth in NFL for QBs), 90 AGI (seventh), 92 ACC (second), and 93 Throw Power. Don’t be afraid to throw it deep (89 Deep Accuracy, ranked third) and on the run (fifth) with Wilson as well, he can do it all."

In last year’s game, Madden NFL 25, Wilson was given an 89 rating, but his outstanding play on the real-life gridiron in 2013 led the games creators to boost his rating this year.

Wilson completed 63 percent of his passes for 3,357 yards, 26 touchdowns and nine interceptions.

His 101.2 QB rating was seventh-best in the NFL last year and he had a league-best five game-winning drives, four of which were comeback victories.

The highest rated rookie in the Madden NFL 15 ratings was Jadeveon Clowney with an 83 rating.

Blake Bortles was the highest-rated rookie QB with a 78 overall rating.

The Seahawks are expected to have one of the best overall team ratings in the video game. Last year, Seattle was rated 90 overall, second only to the 49ers (91 overall).

In real-life, the Seahawks rank No. 1 overall in a few different preseason Power Rankings. That will probably also be reflected in the video game once everything comes together.

With Richard Sherman gracing the cover, Madden NFL 15 will be released Aug. 26, the week before the Seahawks kick off the NFL season.
